On Earth Day the Dominion Foundation, the charity of
Dominion Resources announced its 2017 grants of $1.2 million to 107
organizations working to improve natural spaces or encourage environmental
stewardship. Though the Dominion Foundation has been making these grants since
2003, this is the first year that our own Prince William Environmental
Excellence Foundation applied. We were awarded $8,500 to support some of our educational
programs, updating our Conservation Capsules and Farm Field Days.
